Family Based Services Clinician: Part of Counseling Program, the Family Based Services Clinician provides outpatient mental services to children, adolescents, and adults with co-occurring disorders. Successful applicants will have interest and experience in the delivery of home based treatment services as well as outpatient services. Treatment modalities include individual, couples, family, and group therapy as appropriate. Services are expected to be family-based in nature and time limited, unless there is a diagnostic rationale for continuing services on a long term basis. A Masters Degree in Social Work or related field. State LICSW, LCSW, LMFT or LMHC license required. Ability to work in a team framework and openness to ongoing supervision and training.

 

Substance Abuse Coordinator: Full Time Position - Substance abuse issues are endemic to many of the children, adults and families served by Family Resources Community Action irrespective of the program in which they may be receiving their primary services. As such, a Substance Abuse Coordinator is needed to strengthen the capacity of the counseling program by providing supervision and direct services. A Licensed Chemical Dependency Professional with a LICSW, LCSW, or LMHC license required. Ability to work in a team framework and openness to ongoing supervision and training. Workforce Development Project Coordinator: Part of Employment and Training Division, the Workforce Development Project Coordinator provides overall leadership and management of an exciting and new workforce partnership in Northern Rhode Island. Facilitate the partnership's governance committee and sub-committees in design and oversight of partnership activities. BA/BS with at least three years of management experience in adult education, vocational training, workforce development, business, or other area of expertise. Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills required. Knowledge of workforce development and grant writing strongly desired. Bi-Lingual candidates encouraged to apply.

 

 

Fee for Service Clinicians: Family Resources Community Action is seeking Fee for Service Clinicians to provide a minimum of 6-10 hours weekly of family and individual treatment related to mental health and/or addiction concerns. Office and specialty home based services can be provided day and evening hours; clinical consultation available as needed. Applicants providing behavioral health services must possess LICSW, LCSW or LMHC credentials. Clinicians providing addiction counseling services must possess at minimum an LCDP. Preference will be given to those clinicians that can provide co-occurring treatment services. The counseling program is open days, evening and on Saturdays.
