GROW UP! Community Garden

GrowUp! (Gardening Resources of Woonsocket Utilizing People) is a community garden that promotes positive change, sustainability and community involvement. 2013 is our 5th planting season. During the summer of 2012, over 800 lbs of food was donated to local food pantries! Located adjacent to the Woonsocket Harris Public Library, on land donated for community garden use by the Pawtucket YMCA, the GrowUp Garden is a true community gem.  Plots are available for a nominal fee for any community members who wishes to grow vegetables and herbs for the 2013 season.

Thanks to students at Beacon Charter High School for the Arts & Mount St. Charles and other volunteers who came out on Garden Prep Day on April 27th.
