Save the Date for this year's Generation Gap Tennis Tournament - April 21st 2012 at the Rally Point Racquet Club in Greenville, RI. Proceeds benefit the Woonsocket Shelter. Last year's tournament hosted 26 spirited and talented teams (9 more than 2010) and numerous supportive fans.
We had 6 team tennis winners but the Woonsocket Shelter was the big winner of the evening, as this year's tournament raised more than $1700 dollars.
For the third straight year Nathan Ray (pictured at left), currently a 16 year old Sophomore at La Salle Academy (with the assistance of his family and friends) has been the motivating and coordinating force behind this tournament to benefit the Shelter. This is the tournament's second year as the "Generation Gap (adult/child) Tennis Tournament" but the third that Nathan has coordinated.
Also, we extend sincerest thanks to our host & sponsor Rally Point Racquet Club with special thanks going to Club Manager, Mr. Russell Steere.
