Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services

Family sitting on a couch.

We provide Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services for individuals of all ages experiencing concerns related to depression, trauma and relationship issues that interfere with daily functioning. Services include:

  • Mental health counseling for children and adults
  • Family counseling
  • Substance abuse treatment for addiction to alcohol and/or other drugs.
  • Access to Recovery (ATR) services*
  • Women’s Recovery House

*(Click here for more information about ATR through the RI Dept. of Mental Health, Retardation & Hospitals.)

Outpatient counseling services are office-based and time-limited; many clients are seen within 10-12 sessions which can be extended as needed.

Payment for services is based on Medicaid, Private Insurers, and limited substance abuse contract slots.

All clinicians are licensed or certified based on their specialty (e.g. substance abuse treatment) or receive additional training and clinical supervision toward their licensure. Graduate level interns through their clinical training also provide services while receiving regular clinical supervision by a licensed practitioner.

For additional information or intake contact Sabrina Doubroff at 401-235-6072 or sdoubroff@famresri.org
