Family Resources Community Action is seeking Fee for Service Clinicians to provide a minimum of 6-10 hours weekly of family and individual treatment related to mental health and/or addiction concerns. Office and specialty home based services can be provided day and evening hours; clinical consultation available as needed.
Minimal qualifications: Applicants providing behavioral health services must possess LICSW, LCSW or LMHC credentials. Clinicians providing addiction counseling services must possess at minimum an LCDP. Preference will be given to those clinicians that can provide co-occurring treatment services. The counseling program is open days, evening and on Saturdays.
The Financial Literacy Coordinator/Coach will oversee coordination of all activities and collaboration between partners for the "Move for Your Money" Financial Literacy Program. The Financial Literacy Coordinator/Coach will plan and conduct literacy training to include the Financial Fitness Workshop series and single session Money TIPS trainings, secure guest speakers and other trainers the sessions, coordinate and conduct financial literacy training workshops for staff at the agency and in the community. The Financial Literacy Coordinator/Coach will provide individualized financial counseling for program participants and offer information and referrals to specialized services. The Financial Literacy Coordinator/Coach will serve as a liaison with local banks, guest speakers, and other trainers. You would compile data and generate reports as required by agency and by other funding sources for the program. You will also monitor and evaluate the program.

Part of Family Support Services, the Early Intervention Program addresses the needs of children aged from birth to 3 years of age with developmental delays and disabilities or whose social-emotional growth is impeded due to circumstances such as poverty, homelessness or a parent with mental illness or substance abuse concerns. As an Early Intervention Service Coordinator, you will be part of a Multidisciplinary team in conducting both family and child assessments, develops and implements Individual Family Service Plans (IFSP)and assumes direct responsibility to insure coordination and monitoring of plans, coordinates all recommended services as indicated via IFSP to include OT, PT, SLP, diagnostic evaluations, and transition planning, implements centered based programs for small groups of children and their families to include developmental and socialization activities consistent with the goals of the IFSP.
MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Early Childhood Special Education, Social Work, Psychology, Communication Disorders or Nutrition.
The In School Youth Services Coordinator provides overall coordination and client centered case management services for school age youth. The In School Youth Services Coordinator would design and implement social and leadership development opportunities, life skill classes, job readiness workshops and career readiness training that best complement the youth that are served through the program. The Youth Services Coordinator would meet all program benchmarks and outcomes as dictated by funding source(s) and/or department regulations. They would work constructively and effectively with a diverse group of youth. You would need to maintain relationships with other youth provider organizations and educational systems. The Youth Services Coordinator creates and maintains relationships with employers for purposes of work experience, career exploration, and job placement. Provide case management and one-on-one counseling to all youth. Previous experience in youth services and case management preferred. The Youth Services Coordinator interview and select program applicants and review work history, education and training, and job skills within team setting. You would meet regularly with youth to develop marketing tools, techniques and portfolios to prepare them for entering the job market. The Youth Services Coordinator provide creative and engaging workshops and field trips in employment related area including resumes, job interviews, academic tutoring, and career exploration and provide case management services to all program participants and make referrals to other appropriate programs and services. This position will require a flexible schedule.

The case manager will provide coordination of client centered services that link clients to medical, psychosocial, counseling, and basic needs. Provide ongoing supports to clients and families, dealing with the issues and day-to-day concerns of living with HIV/AIDS. Provide outreach services and adherence education sessions to both individuals and families. Demonstrate sensitivity to LGBT persons, race, creed, ethic minorities, addition history and to those impacted by HIV and S/A. The case manager will ensure timely and coordinated services and are to develop a comprehensive and individualized care plan. You must have the ability to establish and maintain a professional relationship with clients and colleagues.

This is a temporary, grant funded position until December 2010. The Change Leader is one of three local leaders who will plan, implement and evaluate the Coalition strategies and outcomes. A logic model has been developed by United Way to guide the change process. The community impact goal is to create and foster schools and community where family involvement is welcomed and real, and where school personnel, families and community organizations are all focused on a shared vision of children's school success. Oversee the establishment of School Success Coalition, a local group of community social service providers, school personnel and families that will set the priorities for the Coalition efforts and activities. You will facilitate community presentations, workshops and other activities determined by the planning process. Develop Coalition marketing materials and conduct outreach and service promotion in the community. Compile data and generate reports as required by agency and funding sources for program monitoring and evaluation purposes. Maintain and update records. Cultivate relationships with key school personnel and community social service providers in order to promote the vision of the Coalition. Promote a positive working relationship with peer Change Leaders within the School and Parent population. Cultivate relationships with key businesses in northern RI to identify support and partnerships for sustainability once the grant period ends.

The Work Readiness Instructor will deliver various modules that teach "soft skills" and job readiness to a variety of students. Input into design and adaptation of the modules is expected. Instruction will take place in various contexts, including two programs prepare candidates for occupations in the healthcare sector. The position will entail conducting individual workshops on work readiness and job search skills as well as operating a weekly job club for clients seeking employment. As the work readiness instructor, you will also be responsible for offering instruction to job seekers in the basic computer skills that enable them to utilize the digital tools available for seeking employment. Familiarity with the netWorkRI system and online assessment tools available through the one-stop center is preferred. Working familiarity with the health care sector preferred. You would need the ability to work constructively and effectively with diverse staff and consumers. Have openness to on going training, supervision, professional growth opportunities. This is a part time (20 hours per week) temporary, grant funded position through September 2010. The Case Manager will be responsible for intakes, assessments, case management, data tracking, workshop presentations, and other duties as assigned for Way to Work Clients (Adults searching for employment transportation resources in Northern Rhode Island). As the Way to Work Case Manager you will compile data relating to clients served, services delivered and transportation barriers addressed. You will maintain and update case records in a timely fashion. You would plan and/or facilitate a variety of life skills and transportation workshops for clients. As the Way to Work Case Manager, you would cultivate relationships with key community contacts to support the goals of the Way to Work transportation program. Ability to communicate effectively with a range of constituents including business leader's school and community-based organizations personnel and public officials. Experience conducting outreach and marketing. Experience with case management, particularly for at-risk populations. Must have oral and written communication skill and excellent computer skills.
