Family Resources Community Action is seeking Fee for Service Clinicians to provide a minimum of 6-10 hours weekly of family and individual treatment related to mental health and/or addiction concerns. Office and specialty home based services can be provided day and evening hours; clinical consultation available as needed.
Minimal qualifications: Applicants providing behavioral health services must possess LICSW, LCSW or LMHC credentials. Clinicians providing addiction counseling services must possess at minimum an LCDP. Preference will be given to those clinicians that can provide co-occurring treatment services. The counseling program is open days, evening and on Saturdays.
The purpose of this position is to provide individual, family, and group treatment to clients in the Specialized Foster Care Program. The clinician will provide clinical case management, consultation, and support to foster parent, and clinical staff as needed. The clinician conducts psychosocial assessment, develops an individualized treatment plan to include members of the treatment team, the child, and birth/foster parents. The clinician provides individual counseling with each child. Consultation, coaching, and support to foster parent (s) relative to each child's functioning and well being. The clinician provides crisis intervention/stabilization to clients and foster families.

The Program Assistant position is designed to increase the level of administrative depth, monitoring, and support allowing the senior manager to exert greater leadership relative to the vision, functioning, and operations of multiple programs. The Program Assistant will track resource utilization and productivity to provide senior manager regular or periodic updates regarding program capacity and contract compliance. The Program Assistant will accumulate data for the submission of program level funding sources, assist the senior manager in grant development and submitting of proposals to funding sources, develop monthly or quarterly reports to funding sources. The Program Assistant will insure that necessary up to date documentation and filing for subcontracts, leases, and memorandums of agreements. The Program Assistant will serve as a liaison to Finance Department relative to projects or concerns. You would provide written and verbal reports to program staff in relation to contract issues, productivity targets, and utilizations. You must have the capacity to train and consult with direct service and other staff in relation to contract, data, and other administrative issues.

Family Resources Community Action is a social service agency in Northern Rhode Island is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to work in our Early Intervention Program as an Independent (Fee for Service) Contractor. The physical therapist will provide direct therapy and training regarding the promotion of sensorimotor function through the enhancement of musculoskeletal status, neurobehavioral organization, perceptual and motor development, cardiopulmonary status and effective environmental adaptation. The physical therapist would do screening evaluation and assessment of infant and toddlers to identify movement dysfunction. You would obtain, interpret, and integrate information appropriate to program planning to prevent, alleviate or compensate for movement dysfunction and related functional problems. You would complete required written documentation according to agency standards and funding source guidelines.

The Northern RI Visitation Center is designed to address the permanency needs of children that that have been placed in foster care due to a substance abusing parent's inability to meet their safety and well being needs. The project will provide intensive recovery/case management and visitation services so as to maintain and strengthen the attachment between parents and their children. The project team will also collaborate with regional providers of outpatient substance abuse and co-occurring treatment services. The Family Permanency Project will also partner closely with Region IV Family Service Unit staff of the Department of Children, Youth and Families where referrals will originate. DCYF and Project staff will work together to coordinate services, monitor safety and provide ongoing information that will inform permanency decision-making. The Clinician should have a combination of experience to include child welfare, substance abuse treatment, and working with victims of domestic violence. The Clinician will be responsible for insuring that measurable treatment plans are formulated in collaboration with recovery coaches and will sign off on each plan. Applicants for this position will preferably have prior clinical experience with excellent written and oral skills.

The Case Manager/After Care Worker provides case management services in support of the DCYF service plan. The Case Manager/After Care Worker will provide individual case management/after care services and support at least every other week, to include consultation, coaching relative to the child, foster parent and/or the biological family. This would include academic support, medical needs, social functioning, independent living skills, visitation with the birth family, transition to the adoptive family, or other placements. The Case Manager/After Care Worker would provide as needed support to biological parents needs concurrent with their DCYF plan. The Case Manager/After Care Worker would ensure provision and develop of permanency plan to include supports needed for transition and service coordination. The Case Manager/After Care Worker would coordinate individual planning for each youth in placement with DCYF case workers, clinicians, educational systems, foster and biological parents. . The Case Manager/After Care Worker would develop, in coordination with treatment team, an individualized service plan. The Case Manager/After Care Worker assures documentation is according to state program and agency standards. The Case Manager/After Care Worker would provide written updates of progress and recommendations to DCYF. The Case Manager/After Care Worker would participate in monthly foster parent trainings, child care during trainings, and participate in pre-placement training for new foster parents. The Case Manager/After Care Worker would also participate in on-call beeper rotations.

Family Resources Community Action is looking for a bilingual (Spanish) Youth Service Coordinator for our youth programs. The Youth Services Coordinator provides overall coordination and client centered case management services for a diverse group of youth, ages 14-24. The Youth Services Coordinator would design and implement social and leadership development opportunities, life skill classes, job readiness workshops and career readiness training that best complement the youth that are served through the program. The Youth Services Coordinator would meet all program benchmarks and outcomes as dictated by funding source(s) and/or department regulations. They would work constructively and effectively with a diverse group of youth. You would need to build and maintain relationships with other youth provider organizations, employers, and educational systems for the purposes of work experiences, career exploration, job readiness, and other partnerships that benefit the youth we serve. You would conduct intakes and assessment for all youth who enter the program, keep case notes and client files up to date and in order. Provide case management and one-on-one counseling to all youth. Previous experience in youth services and case management preferred.
